The provision of the tree seedlings is SM’s green responsibility especially in Davao del Norte, where SM City Tagum will soon be constructed. This is also the mall’s commitment to help protect and conserve the natural resources as each tree planted is a step towards a greener planet.
In 2013, SM Foundation embarked on a “Grow a Million Trees Project” in partnership with DENR. Covered in this project is the 10,000 trees planted in the 20-hectare site in Brgy. Suawan, Marilog District, Davao City.
