Big Bad Wolf Opens ‘World’s Biggest Book Sale’ One Last Time for 2023 in Davao City

Big Bad Wolf Books has started its final event in the Philippines for 2023, taking place in Davao City. On December 14, an exclusive sneak peek of the final leg of the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Philippines was attended by VIPs, esteemed media guests, and key opinion leaders.



In addition, Big Bad Wolf Books is excited to extend an invitation to the people of Davao to discover its extensive collection of over 2 million books. With a wide range of genres to choose from and incredible discounts of up to 95% off, there are plenty of amazing deals waiting to be explored. 

The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in Davao will be held from December 15 to 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 Pm.  Located at Function Hall 1 of the SMX Convention Center, which is part of SM Lanang Premier.




Among the attendees was Ambassador Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines. His presence at the event symbolizes the strong relationship between Malaysian businesses and the Philippines.

The Consulate in Davao's Consul General, Deddy Faisal, also attended the event. He emphasized his support for cultural initiatives and his commitment to promoting literary engagement within the community.

Genrose Tecson, the Head of the Office of the Vice President—Mindanao Office, represented Vice President and Secretary of Education Sarah Duterte. Her presence served as a reminder of the significance of supporting initiatives that foster the intellectual development and overall well-being of the people in Mindanao.

Salome M. Enoc, the Officer-in-Charge of the City Library and Information Center, attended the event on behalf of Mayor Sebastian Duterte.

Cherry. Faye B. Al-Ag, who was representing Councilor Dr. Bernard Al-Ag, attended the event along with Jennifer Romero, the Officer-in-Charge of Davao City Tourism Operations. They both recognized the event's potential to attract tourists to the city.

Representatives from other important partners of Big Bad Wolf Books, including Metrobank's General Usage Head, Ms. Emily Joy Koa, and Gawad Kalinga Resource Generator volunteer Joey S. Mempin, were also present at the event. Their attendance further solidified their potential collaboration for future events.

The support of SM Lanang, represented by Assistant Vice President of Operations Engineer Nick Santos, and the involvement of SMX Convention Center, under the direction of Senior Branch Manager Daphne Alojad, were crucial in providing a suitable and accessible location for the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale.
