Important Advisory: Union Bank of the Philippines Systems Integration Activities March 23 to March 25, 2024

Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) announces a scheduled system downtime from March 23, 2024 (Saturday) to March 25, 2024 (Monday) to finalize the migration of all Citi-branded accounts and update various functionalities across platforms.


The system upgrade is a crucial step following the acquisition of Citi Philippines' consumer business in August 2022. During this period, UnionBank's systems will be offline, impacting transactions including bills payments via credit/debit cards and funds transfers scheduled for March 23 and 24, 2024.


To minimize inconvenience, UnionBank advises customers to complete these transactions before March 23, 2024. The bank assures customers of a seamless transition and improved services post-upgrade.

 
In addition, the following services will also be temporarily unavailable:



* Above unavailable services apply to all retail customers, including payroll, payee, government, and EON Cyber accounts 
 
To avoid any inconvenience, please schedule your banking transactions before the systems migration period.

The following services will remain available without any interruption:

•    Customer Service Hotline at +632 8 841-8600.

Our Customer Service Officers will be ready during the migration period to take emergency banking inquiries and card blocking requests due to fraud, lost, or stolen cards.
