Social media is abuzz with excitement following the release of the official teaser for “Amir,” with the upcoming fantasy-drama film from GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Brightburn Entertainment already hitting 4 million views as of this writing.
An official entry in the upcoming 52nd Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Amir boasts an elite ensemble of award-winning actors led by Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro, and Will Ashley, with child star Argus Aspiras as Amir.
From the team behind “Firefly” and “Green Bones,” Amir is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zig Dulay, with screenplay written by National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee and multi-awarded writer Anj Atienza.
The teaser shows a powerful, heartwarming narrative that follows young Amir and how we might see the world through the eyes of a child.
Within hours of its release, the teaser drew positive feedback from netizens, with most of them already hailing it as a must-watch film this Christmas season.
