During the three-day conference, Uy Masuy shared its signature Cebu Mango Rum as a special treat for event sponsors, partners, and guests, offering them a taste of Cebu’s craftsmanship and creativity.

Cebu Mango Rum is a signature blend of dried mango peels infused with rum in aged oak barrels for that smooth and distinct Cebuano flavor.

“Joining Geeks on a Beach was our way of sharing what Cebu stands for: ingenuity, Creativity, collaboration, and passion,” said Olivia Dizon, President of Uy Masuy Wine Factory. “We believe in the power of ideas to connect people and create lasting impact, and we’re proud to support those who turn their ideas into action.”

Uy Masuy Wine Factory has been part of Cebu’s heritage for over a century. Established in 1912 by Uy Masuy, the company began as a maker of herbal tonics before evolving into one of the Philippines’ earliest producers of wines and spirits.

Today, it produces the well-known Fighter Wine along with Red Lion Sioktong, Red Falcon Mallorca, Drunk Barista, Zing Ginger Liqueur, and Cebu Mango Rum, among others. The company remains true to its roots while expanding its reach to new markets.

Uy Masuy’s participation at GOAB bridged two sides of Cebu’s identity—the spirit of enterprise that drives its tech and startup ecosystem, and the cultural pride that defines its locally made products.
